Operations and Finance Associate | £30-50K + equity

We’re looking for a proactive and detailed-oriented candidate to scale our team operations over the next year. You’ll take the lead in scaling our internal processes, jumping on new initiatives as we expand our offering, and setting us up for success at an early, critical stage.

 

Cleo has grown from 200,000 to 400,000 users in just four months, and as we continue to grow rapidly, we want to make sure we can scale our internal operations, at pace!

 

What you’ll work on:

  • Make sure we’re always on top of our finances: Keep sure our financial and accounting operations run like clockwork, from cash flow checks to invoicing.
  • Support innovation and international expansion through regulation, policy and legal ops: Work with the COO on innovative expansion and innovation projects, from UK and US finance regulation, to incorporation in new countries and fundraising.
  • Actively manage our suppliers and external partners: Constantly assess our costs and how we can get the most for our money
  • Take initiative on financial forecasting, management and monthly investor reporting as we go through Series A and beyond.

Ideally you:

  • Have at least 1 year of experience in an business operations or consulting role
  • Are great at prioritising tasks and are always thinking about where you can spend your time to have the most impact.
  • You have excellent written communication skills.
  • You are organised, get things done, and have great attention to detail.
  • You are enthusiastic about being part of a growing startup team, and helping build it.
