Technical recruiter | £40-70K + bonus + equity

We’re looking for a focused and people-oriented candidate to scale our technical recruitment over the next year. You’ll take the lead in identifying to top technical talent for Cleo, in the UK and beyond, and knowing exactly where to find our future team.


Cleo has grown from 200,000 to 400,000 users in just four months, and as we continue to grow rapidly, we want to make sure we have the internal capability to scale our team as fast as our product and customers!


What you’ll work on:

  • Finding the top candidates: we’re looking for the top backend (ruby), frontend and data science talent. You’ll proactively seek out a diverse set of strong candidates, build relationships and moving them into our hiring funnel

  • Using data to track our work and improve: in improving our engineer and data science pipeline: optimising outreach efforts, working out the best channels and right approaches to get the number of candidates we need in process

  • Spreading the word about Cleo: Attending events and meetups on behalf of Cleo, sharing our mission, vision and what we’re about.

  • Drive a recruiting-focused content calendar, working with our comms team: make sure we build our brand as an employer, to help us reach top talent in the UK and beyond.

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a recruiting environment, whether in house or agency.

  • You are enthusiastic about being part of a growing startup team, and helping build it.
